Must-Haves On Vacation Trips

vacation trip

Whether you’re on a vacation trip via a plane ride or on a weekend getaway via a car ride, it never hurts to be fully prepared.

You see, vacation trips are not just about those places to go. You also see, weekend getaways are not just about those things to do.

That being said, here are some must-haves on vacation trips:

Water Bottles

Going on vacation trips can be pretty exhausting, especially if you have a whole lot of places to go in your itinerary. Going on weekend getaways can also be daunting, especially if you have a whole lot of things to do in your list. Thus, water bottles are must-haves on vacation trips. This is not just for you to keep yourself hydrated enough to last throughout the day, but also to keep yourself invigorated even after hours of roaming around.

You shouldn’t just have water bottles in your backpack. You should also have snacks in your backpack – or better yet, homemade ones that you can make with a bread machine like those found on This will not just allow you to boost that energy of yours, but also enables you to fully experience the place as you don’t need to worry about getting food more often than usual.

Emergency Kits

You never know. You might get lost in a deep forest. You also never know. You might get trapped in a small cave. Thus, emergency kits are must-haves on vacation trips. Your emergency kit should also have at least one or two of the following: flashlight, battery, match, candle, rope, whistle, Band-Aid, antiseptic, fever pill, and cold syrup. It also helps to have tools such as pocket knives to help assist you in situations like getting lost somewhere unfamiliar or getting trapped somewhere constricted.

These are just some must-haves on vacation trips.

Other must-haves on vacation trips include clothes that are great for both warm temperatures and cold temperatures (e.g. t-shirts, pants, leggings, sweatshirts, scarves, gloves) and shoes that are both great for mild walking conditions and intense running conditions (e.g. sneakers, slip-ons, slippers, hiking boots, climbing shoes, running shoes), as well as sleeping bags and plastic sheets – both of which helps regulate your own temperature, especially when you’re facing challenges like those mentioned above.
