Okay, so you’re ready to go—bags packed, hat’s on, home’s tidy—but something’s still missing. There’s a void in your heart only a ______ can fill. What is it? What did you forget to pack?

That’s right!

Your favorite juice in a jar!

Just because you’re going on a vacation doesn’t mean your physical fitness routine should rest too! I’m not suggesting you bring your juicer with you, that’s inconvenient. Only bring the prepared juice with you, and you’re ready to go! Follow these steps and say no to a space in your heart!

  1. List down your favorite juice recipes

If you’re into green smoothie making, it’s only fair to focus on green vegetables such as spinach, kale, and cucumber, and green fruits like apples, grapes, and honeydew melon. Count the days you’ll be spending for vacation then just pack one bottle for every morning. Decide which juice you should drink on the first day, the second day, so on, and label the jars after prepping them.

  1. Prep them

If you can bring a cooler with you, then it’s best to pack a few juices for the trip home too. Don’t forget to follow the recipe as it is. Do not add sugar unless you want to spend the last days of your vacation in a hospital. After preparing them, label them (1st day, 2nd day, etc.) then send them to your refrigerator at once.

  1. Pack the jars properly

The juices should be placed in a cooler or an air-tight container (if it’s just a one-day vacation) loaded with ice. They can last for up to 72 hours if they’re kept chilled. But before placing them into the cooler, you should pre-chill them first; doing so will keep them cold for longer. Follow this order when you’re about to fill your cooler: Ice packs first, then the glass jars, then ice packs on top and around the jars. Loading the cooler with ice is the secret. Remember to place the first jar you’ll drink on top, so you don’t have to disturb the other glass jars and have trouble with your arms getting too cold while looking for the jar labeled “first day.”

Cooler bag

Now you can drink a glass of juice every morning even on vacation. Juice + Vacation = Incomparable Energy and Good Vibes!
